Our Extended Day Program serves families who need safe child-centered child care for their grade school-aged children beyond the hours of the regular school day. Parents reserve hourly sessions for their children on a monthly basis. Children may choose from a number of activities including outside play and indoor activities such as blocks, games, fine motor manipulatives, drawing, puzzles, and computer. Children can work on homework, staff is happy to provide homework support if needed. Of course children are always welcome to curl up with a good book!
The public school bus stops directly in front of HeartPlay School on Lakeshore Drive in north Asheville. Children can ride the school bus and be dropped off at our front door with staff members there to greet them.
Extended Day Hours - 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. – provided on regular school days
